this urge to start listing words/phrases like and associated with family. “my sister” for example… what an interesting use of a possessive, like “my” wife, and “my” mother and father… blood? genetics? shared time/space/experience? perceived knowledge of each other through various phases of development? various levels of investment in certain desired outcomes for one another?
certainly all valid and understandable elements of association and attributed significance…
is any of that love or expression of it?
maybe all if it is… but maybe it’s more than that — something less obvious but just as present; something known, but maybe beyond words; something including but in no way limited to any of the above; maybe even something inherent in the very nature of existence… as in to be (at all) ultimately being the result, expression, and perpetuation/continuation of… is love even the right word (or maybe just the best we’ve got)?

thinking, sensing, perceiving — phenomena…

breathing…
noticing…
being…

open, aware, present…
whatever is…
nothing excluded…
here…
now…
this…

being is…

… an unconditional yes to experiencing…
(whew… almost never get through that whole thing without following some distracting thought…)
