(((catching up…)))
it’s natural for any physical being to develop mechanisms for discerning between safety (survival, propagation, pleasure) and danger (death, pain)…
it’s natural for physicality to try to continue being physical…
discernment accompanying intelligence seems to require subtly and precision as subjectively determining what constitutes “safety” or “danger” becomes increasingly complex.
so, to save some searching, thinking attempts to identify and associate whatever seems most obvious (pigment, gender, orientation, preferences) and assumes (probably) “safer with similar” as in “more likely to survive in a group” especially in a society so dependent on one another for basically everything.
perhaps some even adopt certain non-preferences in the interest of being adopted into a group deemed, for whatever subjective reasons (numbers, resources), “most likely to survive” in some “larger” or more general sense.
in other words, perhaps a mind’s instinct is to create (apparent) polarities in the interest of preserving its (apparent) container, a body…

“i” can be (is?) “a” spaciousness… ~ Ram Dass ((editorialized))
observing some city employees doing work through a manhole via a window facing the intersection at which this house occupies a corner.
wondering if they are doing sewer work. wondering if a pipe is clogged. wondering if such could be a cumulat-ive effect of all the “toilet cloggers” i’ve been putting out lately.
(noticing a flash of “Uncle Eddie” (Randy Quaid) emptying the waste contents of his mobile home into the sewer in front of “Clark’s” (Chevy Chase) house)
noticing how easily meaning can be assigned to things.
wondering if this story is somehow subconsciously symbolic of an “improvement in flow” represented by wonderfully efficient intestinal function along with a “clear-ing of the pipes” at even a “city level”.
noticing an identical process to that which occurs during Beat Saber — what it might’ve meant that that note was hit or missed and/or that that lyric was heard at that moment while that other things was being thought about…
aaaanyway…
wondering about the actual differences (other than the nature of sensory experience) between a “game” and “real life”…
here’s some sounds, images, sensations, maybe even a story already attached, but what is its meaning to whoever seems to be experiencing it, and who is that exactly?

being is proof of perfection; just think about all of the conditions, from the very beginning, that had to be just right for anything at all to come into existence, let alone a potentially infinite diversity of intelligent life; you are proof of perfection. 💕

is awareness the same as that of which it is aware?
is it completely separate?
is there awareness of a body?
of a thought?
is this awareness the same as this body?
this thought?
is this awareness sep-arate from any of this?

feeling: as an ego/mind/body, if I was to believe myself great at/for one thing, what would it be?
being felt: as an ego/mind/body, if I was to be believed great at/for one thing, what would it be?
being (un)known: as an ego/mind/body, if I was to be great at/for one thing, but such was never knowingly perceived/experienced by anyone (else?), what would it be? unconditional love/acceptance/openness/peace/spaciousness…
that all might feel/know, even if without knowing so, that it is already so… that such would be one’s (at least momentary) direct experience, with or without any direct association with/to any particular thought or form…
(though honestly, in reference to some of the above questions, i would love this to be the experience elicited in “my” presence (proximal, remote, imagined, etc.))
